Community Involvement

Local community programs and charities we support:

KEDT-TV's Annual Live TV Auction Beach Party

In 2011, Window World of Corpus Christi donated 8 of our white vinyl, double hung windows with lifetime warranty and standard installation valued at $3,500 to be presented live during the auction.  Thousands of Corpus Christi and South Texas viewers called in their bids from the comfort of their home and get great merchandise at great prices. The auction raises much-needed funds to help support the quality PBS programming viewers count on KEDT-TV to provide the Corpus Christi community.  With the help of our donation, KEDT-TV's 39th Annual Live TV Auction Beach Party raised over $151,000!

For the Sake of our Children Annual Celebrity Dinner

Window World of San Antonio is an annual sponsor of the Center for Family Relations' Celebrity Dinner.  This annual dinner is the primary fundraiser for the Center.  100% of the profits go directly to support their programs.  The Center was established to provide a safe, stable and child-friendly enviornment in which children of parents in a high conflict divorce or separation can maintain contact with both of their parents.  For the last thirteen years, the Center has continually increased services to meet the complex needs of local children who are struggling to cope with significant changes in their lives.  In 2011, the dinner raised $66,000!

KLRN-TV's Annual Blazing Gavels Auction

In 2011, Window World of San Antonio donated a room full of windows (4 of our white vinyl, double hung windows with lifetime warranty and standard installation valued at $1,750) to be presented live during the 45th Annual Blazing Gavels Great TV Auction . For 10 days, viewers throughout 30 counties in South Central Texas were able to bid on thousands of items to help support KLRN, public television serving San Antonio and South Central Texas.  The auction is KLRN’s largest and most ambitious television production and fundraising event.
