St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Window World proudly wears the title of “Partner In Hope,” consistently donating to St. Jude. Here locally, we host an annual Charity Golf Classic, which raised over $35,000 this year. “Finding Cures. Saving Children.” It is a simple motto and a promise St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has been able to keep since 1962. The hospital’s unique operating model allows patients and families to be treated bill free thanks to donations. There are multiple ways to give – whether it be your time or a donation. Toys for Tots
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has the goal of giving hope to children to aspire them to become responsible, productive and patriotic citizens. The program collects and distributes in communities where there is Marine Corps Reserve Unit or where a campaign has been launched. Donations of unwrapped toys are accepted during the months of October, November and December – as well as online donations.
Salvation Army
With the agenda to meet human need without discrimination, The Salvation Army has been able to help those in need for over 130 years in the United States. Through different programs based on location the Salvation Army has been able to help 25,000,000 people annually from providing food and shelter to community reconstruction. Volunteers are needed year around, along with household items, food and clothing. Monetary donations can be made online, over the phone or through the mail.
Elf Louise Christmas Project
The Elf Louise Christmas Project is a local nonprofit. The community-based and 100% volunteer organization distributes around 60,000 Christmas gifts to the families of San Antonio. Elf Louise relies on those who want to share their blessings. Toy donations are accepted, as well as contributions to purchase more.
